There's an old saying that you don't miss your water until your well runs dry. I once had a premonition of that happening to me. It felt like I was being drawn into a vortex of infinite darkness. As I awoke from that bad dream, I felt compelled to express in song the gratitude I held for the love I have given and received in this life.
Watching as, the leaves outside, are falling
I recall, a love that we once knew
Listening, I cannot hear it calling
As I pace the floor, until I’m blue
There’s no center peace
Searching for your spirit, I am haunted
By the little things, you used to do
Wondering, if I’ll be broken hearted
Wishing you, would make my dreams, come true
And be the center peace
Realizing there’s no sense in stalling
As I search, for something bright and new
My ideas, need some over hauling
There’s no way, that I’ll get over you
You’re the center peace
